Mathias mini split maintenance for homes and cabins
Mathias, in southern Hardy County near Lost River State Park, has a mix of year-round homes, cabins and weekend places. We take care of mini splits for all of them, including systems that spend weeks running with nobody home.

When nobody’s home to notice
Many cabins and second homes around Mathias rely on a mini split to keep the place from freezing between visits. That is a big job for one system, and if something goes wrong on a Tuesday, you may not find out until you arrive on Friday to a cold house.
Regular maintenance is your best insurance. We check that drains are clear so a clogged line doesn’t leak into an empty room, look for rodents that move into quiet buildings, and inspect the electrical connections. A voltage monitor adds another layer, helping protect the outdoor unit from damaging power problems while you’re away.
What to watch for in Mathias
- Signs of mice in the line set chase or behind the indoor head
- Water stains under a head in a room that’s rarely used
- A system you left in heat mode that isn’t holding temperature
- Error codes or a blinking unit when you arrive for the weekend
